GREAT #lacucinamath training today by @Jstevens009 & @MrVaudrey. Thinking about how to improve your teaching is a great way to spend a Sat!

Most amazing man in world (hubby) letting me throw up my day. “And then we… Then they said… Then we went outside…” #lacucinamath

From the emails:
“I hope ##### shared with you the authentic emails that were threading around the day after our inservice. 3 of us used something the next day. At a meeting, ##### shared the links with 3 high school teachers who did not attend. Our Pre-calc teacher used two more of them the next day and he wasn’t even there. At least one of the teachers who already had tight lesson plans for the next day is using some materials next week… Honestly, it was one of the most effective in-service sessions I have attended.”
I am certain you have saved my students from many gut wrenching sessions with Peppermint Patty’s teacher in Charlie Brown cartoons! On their behalf, I thank you again for your outstanding work, your dedication to this fabulous profession and to the real needs of students and their teachers everywhere!
On the book:
NOT just a math book. Loved it as literacy T! #read4fun #ILA16 #tlap @classroomchef pic.twitter.com/qRtf2yxrrf
